In this video, dating coach Matthew Hussey explains how by extending your interaction with a guy for just five more seconds gives you a much better chance of connecting with him again.
5 Seconds Short
So many men won’t ask for a woman’s number because the interaction stops five seconds short. The moment of interaction is filled with an introduction. He frantically wonders how he can arrange a date and how to exchange details. The moment ends too soon. Chances are if a man walks away, you will never see him again. Ladies, there is a way you can make it easier for men. Prolong the interaction five more seconds using these three easy tips.
First, if you’re in an appropriate situation, like in a business setting, simply ask if you can walk him out to his car if he’s parked nearby. Give him the little extra time and encouragement to decide what he’s going to do and how he’s going to do it.
The Extra Question
Prolong the interaction by one more question. If you are in a shop helping him, you could say, is there anything else I can do, or do you need anything else? It gives him that moment to realize that you maybe interested. It gives him that one extra question he can use. Another great question is to ask what their plans are for the rest of the day. This is a great way to open up the conversation for the possibility of more.
He Says “I Love You”… But does he really mean it?
This 7 question quiz tells you if your man truly loves you or if he is just using you…
Another great way to extend the interaction is to say that you will hopefully see him around. This gives him the little extra courage that he may be lacking. It’s a great way to let him know you maybe do want to see him again. It’s a statement that invites an exchange of numbers.
The Path of Least Resistance
So many men want to ask you out for a date or your number, they just don’t know how to get there. Especially if they aren’t in the habit of asking randomly for a number, it can be very intimidating. These statements won’t work in every situation, but it’s important to try and give men the path of least resistance in order to connect again.
